Orac Decor 3D panels are suitable for accent walls in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, offices, or commercial spaces, as well as receptions and TV areas. They give the room texture and depth and are suitable for both modern and classic interiors.
Is it necessary to use Orac DecoFix Pro glue for assembly, or can another glue be used?
We recommend using Orac DecoFix Pro specifically, as it is specially designed for Orac panels – a strong, water-based acrylic adhesive for indoor, dry, and porous surfaces (drywall, plaster, etc.). For damp rooms or outdoor use, Orac offers other adhesives (for example, DecoFix Power/Hydro and DecoFix Ultra for joints).
Can I install these panels myself, or is it recommended to hire a professional?
The panels are lightweight, and Orac's installation instructions are designed so that even someone with basic DIY skills can install them. However, for large projects, complex walls (corners, niches, high ceilings), or commercial spaces, we recommend hiring a professional to ensure the result is perfectly straight and durable.
Can the panels be used in wet rooms, such as a bathroom or hallway near an exterior door?
Yes, many Orac panels can be used in wet rooms if the substrate is properly prepared and the room has good ventilation. In such cases, adhesive designed for humid environments (such as Orac DecoFix Power/Hydro) should be used, since DecoFix Pro is intended for dry indoor surfaces. Specifically in water zones (such as inside a shower enclosure), we always recommend clarifying the solution with our specialist.
Can you help me calculate how many panels and DecoFix Pro adhesive I will need for a specific wall?
Yes, of course. Orac provides a glue consumption calculator and detailed installation guidelines to help calculate both the quantity of panels and glue needed, depending on the wall dimensions and selected profile. You can send us the wall measurements (height, width, and a photo), and we will help you plan the required number of panels, the amount of DecoFix Pro cartridges, and any additional materials.
